During the second wave of the epidemic, suspicion, Fear How to Overcome Anxiety

In the early days of August, everything was almost normal in Burma. It has endured the effects of the COVID-19 epidemic for five months, and many of the blockades have been lifted. Across the country, political parties are preparing for the upcoming general election in the coming months.

The first wave of the COVID-19 epidemic did not have a devastating effect on Myanmar. In the five months from the end of March to the beginning of August, when the outbreak began, there were only 374 cases and six deaths. In addition, since June, there have been almost no domestic infections, and most of the new cases have been found in returnees.

But after the second week of August, things changed. There is no return from abroad. The second wave of epidemics began on August 16 with the discovery of disconnected patients who had not been in contact with confirmed patients, and are currently experiencing severe repercussions. In this situation, the government has to tighten its control to control the epidemic, and with these tensions, the effects of the epidemic are causing a great deal of physical harm to the people, as well as the psychological impact of resilience.

In the five months since the first wave of COVID-19 epidemic was diagnosed, there were only 374 infections, but the number of confirmed cases since August 16, when the second wave was declared, has more than doubled.
