Union Ministers and Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Chan Hai met separately in Nay Pyi Taw to discuss increasing bilateral investment and trade. According to the press release of the Ministry of Information, the issues of cooperation in the sports sector were discussed.

After that, Union Minister U Min Thein Zang said that he was particularly happy that the athletes from Myanmar who will compete in the Southeast Asian Games will be invited to China for joint training and that the Myanmar athletes who will compete in the (32th) Southeast Asian Games will be held in Cambodia. He expressed his gratitude for the development of the world level of Myanmar sports and for the support in the upgrading and repair of the National Sports Hall (1) Thuwunna.
