India to review side effects of Astra Zeneca vaccine following concerns in Europe

No cases of blood clots have been found so far, but India will conduct a more in-depth review of the side effects of the Astra Zeneca vaccine, an official said on March 13.

Despite the World Health Organization (WHO) saying there is no reason to discontinue the Astra Zeneca vaccine, India has decided to reconsider the vaccine after fears that it could cause blood clots in several countries.

Denmark Norway Iceland Expectations from around the world have been dashed when Italy and Romania suspended or restricted Oxford / Astra Zeneca vaccinations.
